CAPS

The CAPS (Club Action Planning Scheme) scheme has been introduced to provide netball clubs with a structure and plan for development, which has the player as its primary focus.   Its aim is to assist netball clubs in providing the best quality service for members by creating an appropriately qualified work force of coaches, umpires and administrators.  As a CAPS affiliated club we are able to offer development opportunities to players, coaches and umpires, and help towards achieving qualifications. As well as encouraging development, CAPS also involves paying attention to the clubs duty of care towards children in particular, and to be accessible to all.

Liz Bloor accepts a Silver CAP and Clubmark award on behalf of Bath Netball Club on 15^th May 2005.  The award was presented by Heather Crouch, Netball South West Regional Chair, former England Coach and Vice Chair of England Netball’s Board of Directors
